Symphony in Faded Ink
Symphony in Faded Ink
The
scent of lavender, a faded note,
Your
name inscribed in trembling script.
A
memory blooms, a phantom boat,
On
seas of time, a love adrift.
We walked beneath a summer's moon,
Hand
woven tight, hearts beating free.
Forever
young, a vibrant tune,
A
symphony composed by thee.
But seasons change, the leaves descend,
A
chill creeps in, the laughter fades.
The
empty chair, a waiting friend,
A
silent echo in the arcades.
Love's tapestry, with threads of gold,
Now
threads of gray, a mournful hue.
Yet
in my heart, your story's told,
A
love so strong, forever true.
Though tears may fall like winter rain,
And
shadows dance where sunlight shone,
Your
love remains, a sweet refrain,
A
melody that carries on.
