Green Defiance
Green Defiance
Beneath
the city's steel embrace,
Where
stars are lost in neon's glow,
A
single seed, in hidden space,
Dreams
of a world it longs to know.
The
concrete cracks, a ray breaks through,
Sunlight
ignites a verdant spark.
The
tiny sprout, with morning dew,
Unfurls
its leaves, a defiant arc.
Though
giants loom and shadows fall,
This
fragile life, untamed and bold,
Whispers
defiance to the wall,
A
story green and yet untold.
